There is no such thing as a CO2 detector for residential use.

Becky, you are correct with C02’s, in California it’s law! Thanks, Sandra
As of July 1, 2011, it became state law in California for carbon monoxide detectors to be installed. CO detectors are only required for houses that have either an attached garage, fireplace or gas heater or appliance
